Sounds like some kind of deal was made that I missed. Sounds like this so called deal that was made by drew swearing on his sister Natalie and apparently Yash agreed to it. I did catch the part right after and the 2 were discussing that he had too last a little longer so it looked legit to the houseguests watching and then he “fell”.

I believe it lasted around 13 hours so pretty respectable considering what we’ve seen in the recent past.

Edit: Apparently this is the deal that was made: if Taylor loses in Blockbuster Drew won’t vote her out AND if drew wins hoh he won’t put Yash up or renominate him. Yash agreed and threw it to Drew.

Something I've never understood about American culture is 'swearing on'. As if it's any different if one goes back on a promise after "swearing on" a person.

I am very happy for Drew! He threw a wrench in their plans for yet another week.

--Why in the world would Yash make a deal with Drew, his primary target this week?

I heard some mumbling about what Drew might do with the veto & vote, but I never heard an absolute promise. Besides, Drew is the last one I would expect to keep a promise
