I believe I understand what they did this year to find this cast. They interviewed all the people who applied and some that didn’t. They asked if they were fans of the show and feeds. Anyone who said yes was cut from the casting list.
In the next rounds of casting, they asked people about potential game strategies. Anyone who described a plan based on players from prior seasons was cut from the casting list.
Finally they got to the make or break round of casting & they started asking questions about showmances. They explained that there were more happy marriages from BB contestants than all of the Bachelor & Bachelorette shows put together. Anyone who said no to possible showmances was cut from the casting list.
MJ was selected even though she’s not particularly good at games, because of a potential showmance. Unfortunately, her matching dumbass was evicted first. I’m sure the DR is slanting all the eviction conversations towards evicting MJ. Unless of course she wins the AI comp, which nobody expects her to do.
BuhBye MJ!
